This article highlights Management Partners’ water operations review report presented to the Glendora City Council.   Through staff interviews, a document review, and benchmarking analysis, Management Partners identified 8 recommendations to improve the efficiency of service delivery.  The Council took particular interest in Glendora’s higher level of water main leaks compared to regional peers, which further supported the City’s recent decision to raise water rates in order to make substantial investments in capital infrastructure improvements.

Glendora engaged Management Partners based on our previous work with the City.  In June 2010, Management Partners completed a management review of the Building and Safety, Civil Engineering and Water Engineering Divisions of the Public Works Department.  We also completed a Development Services process review for Glendora in February 2011, with a subsequent follow-up on implementation progress in fall 2011.
