The University of Kansas School of Public Affairs & Administration presents “Inspiring Women in Public Administration” on Thursday, June 28 from 8 am to 4:30  pm, to be held in Olathe, Kansas (a Kansas City suburb). The one-day conference is dedicated to discussing the role of women public managers. Inspiring presenters include Rosie Rios, U.S Treasurer and Sheryl Sculley, City Manager of San Antonio. Texas.

The conference aims to support women leaders whose work is vital to communities and provide a rich environment to engage and expand our understanding of the trends affecting us professionally and personally. The agenda has been crafted to provide opportunities to enhance participants’ leadership capacities while also providing a day of encouragement and renewal. Jan Perkins, Senior Partner, and Karen Davis, Senior Management Advisor, both graduates of the KU MPA program, are on the program committee.  Management Partners is a sponsor of this exciting day.
